FIELD SUPERINTENDENT/AREA MANAGER

Southern Spur Enterprises Ltd is looking for an ambitious and motivated experienced Field Superintendent/Area Manager.   Our main office and shops are located just off hwy 16 in Lashburn, Saskatchewan.  We service the Lloydminster area and northern Alberta. This position involves actively seeking new business and client opportunities while maintaining existing relationships and services, monitoring production activities and ensuring compliance to all safety and quality procedure guidelines.

To be considered for this position we are looking for the following qualities-:

    7 + years in a supervisory role in the Oil and Gas environment
    10+ years in oilfield
    Able to handle high pressure situations and demanding deadlines  good time management
    Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
    Able to identify key issues, creatively and strategically overcome challenges
    A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices and procedures and other operational issues.
    Well-defined diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
    Salary will be dependent on experience
    on call every second weekend for emergency purposes and for dispatch to seek advice.
