The Research, Evaluation and Central Support (RECS) Unit in the Community Care Branch of Saskatchewan Health is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join our team. In this challenging position you will provide advice/support to the Branch regarding the Branch budget including funding to Regional Health Authorities for community-based services, developing business cases, and monitoring branch expenditures. This position also provides analysis, advice and project leadership in the areas of research support and policy direction as well as the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and strategy deployment activities for community-based programs and services (e.g. long-term care, home care, rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, etc).
As a key member of the RECS Unit, you will work closely with the Continuing Care and Rehabilitation, Mental Health and Addictions and Licensing Units on research, evaluation and budget priorities and will provide leadership, direction and supervision of individuals responsible for undertaking research, statistical analysis, and committee support.
In consultation with management, other units and branches you will: analyze Regional Health Authority Plans and budgets and make recommendations on Regional programming; coordinate the branch administrative budget; develop recommended budget forecasts; prepare Treasury Board requests; and prepare branch budget business cases for the.
