Do you have strong electrical troubleshooting, communication, job planning and leadership skills?  Can you integrate with Instrumentation and Communication departments?

Our client is a major maintenance and installations contractor for manufacturing and processing industries in the oil and gas sector.  On behalf of our client we are looking for 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice/ Journey Person Electrician.  The company is close-knit, family oriented and they recognize the needs of individual employees. This is a full time, permanent position.  This client offers competitive wages from $25.00 - $41.86/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.  On top of hourly wages electricians are eligible for annual safety allowance, profit share, RRSP, and Health and Insurance Benefits. Out-of-province candidates with the right qualifications may also qualify for assistance with moving expenses after successfully completing their initial 3 month probation period.  

This position has a rotating on-call schedule to provide clients with after hours emergency service.  This is currently one week out of every eight weeks.  All on call shifts are paid as overtime.

Requirements:

Must be familiar with the current Canadian Electrical Code
Must become familiar with current Saskatchewan CEC Interpretations along with various client electrical installation specifications.
Client is COR certified, and has a comprehensive QA/QC and Safety Program that must be adhered to by all workers.  
Oil and gas industry experience.
Must carry valid First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, PST/CSTS, Aerial Lift, and Fall Arrest safety tickets.
