STATUS OF POSITION: Permanent Part Time
AVAILABLE HOURS:
FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY: 88 hours in a 6 week rotation; shifts may include weekend rotation.
These conditions may be subject to change
(Applicable to part-time staff only: scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.) Summary of duties include: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Continuing Care Assistant from SIAST; or Health Care Aide Certificate from SK Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT); or Personal Care Aide Certificate from Saskatoon Business College (SBC); or an equivalent program
May consider hiring untrained resident attendants who will be required to obtain the SIAST Continuing Care Assistant Certificate or an equivalent program as identified above within two (2) years at hers/his own expense. Untrained applicants enrolled in the CCA certificate program and who have completed the personal care course are preferred.
SALARY: Salary range $19.87 to $21.29 Pay Band #12
