The Council is an affiliate of the Mtis Nation of Saskatchewan and is a non-profit corporation providing alcohol and drug services and counselling programs to Saskatchewan residents.
The secretary is an in-scope position and she/he will serve as the secretary and receptionist to the Regional Director and staff. The secretary is directly accountable to the Regional Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of two (2) years continuous sobriety/abstinence;
-Ability to read and write at GED 12 level;
-Certificate in Business Administration by a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of 5 years related training and experience;
-Extensive experience in office procedures,word processing and spread sheet programs and filing systems;
-Interest in, and ability to deal with people experiencing problems related to alcohol and drugs and solvents;
-Volunteer experience in one or more of the following is an asset;recreation, culture, nutrition,youth, life skills and/or commnity development;
-Excellent communication, interpersonal skills;
-Ability to speak Cree or Michif an asset;
-Certification in St. Johns First Aid Course;
-Ability to secure a current CPIC Security Clearance, and;
-Hold a valid drivers license and ability to travel.
