Description

FACILITY/LOCATION: Meadow Lake Community- Public Health Services

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Public Health Services

CLASSIFICATION: Health Educator  Staff

STATUS: Temporary Part Time (.50FTE)

HOURS OF WORK: As per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Field Hours Provision

RATE OF PAY: As per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement ($31.665  $38.718/ hr)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree from a recognized university program in health education or social science field.  Minimum one year of experience in community health promotion/education or directly related experience.  Knowledge of the Prairie North Regional Health Authority and community resources.  Knowledge of teaching principles and health promotion modalities.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to travel with a valid drivers license.
