Description

Reporting to the Manager of Surface & Materials, this position is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:  
-Develop and maintain inventory classifications/commodity codes
-Analyze SAP generated inventory reports in developing economic order quantities
-Reconcile inventory
-Site materials SAP Functional Lead
-Analyze and recommend inventory min/max levels
-Oversee inventory reduction efforts
-Oversee inventory disposal
-Administer cycle count program
-Identify and maintain slow moving & obsolete stock
-Assist in warehouse material flow and efficiencies
-Develop and recommend material naming convention
-Maintain SAP vendor lead-time information
-Maintain inventory turn over
-Assist in developing material inspection process
-Monthly inventory KPI reporting and development

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Minimum 5  years experience in inventory management
-SCMP professional certification with PMAC would be an asset
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience would be considered
-Proven team player, innovative and able to liaise with departments on site and take the lead in various assigned inventory related projects and processes
-Proven Project Management skills including the ability to influence the implementation and the use of inventory best practices
-Contribute to the development and the implementation of inventory continuous improvement strategies
-Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
-Strong communication, planning and leadership skills
-Advance level in MS Word and Excel
-Experience with SAP is a strong asset

Work Location & Schedule:  McClean Lake 7 in / 7 out - 77 hours/week

Pick-Up Points:   Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Camsel Portage, Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston
