In this position, you will be responsible for promoting programs and products that meet current and prospective customer needs. The ideal candidate for this role will offer a dynamic personality and a strong work ethic.
What you will do:
* Maintain strong relationships with centers of influence and decision makers within the education sector (i.e. division officials, principals, coaches, parent-teacher organizations, student leaders)
* Maintain an active calendar of customer meetings and sales presentations
* Prepare sales contracts, including pricing and payment terms
* Collaborate with management on strategic sales plans
* Prepare sales reports for management
* Complete consistent follow up to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
Must haves:
* 2+ years of proven sales experience
* Track record of successful new business development
* Post-secondary education related to business or commerce
* Strong computer skills (especially MS Office)
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Strong problem solving abilities
