Director, North Battleford Youth Centre - MAN001471
The Custody, Supervision and Rehabilitation Services Division is seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to provide strategic and operational leadership as Director of the North Battleford Youth Centre. The Youth Centre provides secure custody and remand for youth ages 12 to 18 under the Young Offenders Act. In keeping with the ministry's strategic plan, the director is responsible for ensuring that facility and community security and safety standards are maintained and a rehabilitative and reintegration program focus is supported. As a key provincial manager and member of a regional management team, the successful candidate will participate in provincial policy and program development including the implementation of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and will partner with other ministries, organizations and communities in support of youth related initiatives.
Your knowledge and understanding of public sector management, government processes, procedures and protocols are required to ensure alignment and management of strategic, organizational and operational supports. You must be able to think and act strategically as you manage the details of daily operations.
As a senior executive in a large, dynamic ministry, your keen leadership skills will advance inter and intra-ministry priorities. You must have superior communication and relationship management skills to work effectively with diverse community and government partners.
