The Revenue Division of the Ministry of Finance requires a highly motivated, energetic and well-organized individual to join our Collections and Enforcement Team in the Operations Branch as an Administrative Assistant. This is a six month term position with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Manager of Collections and Enforcement, the successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment providing administrative support to a team of professionals within the Unit.
Your responsibilities will include:
preparation of a variety of correspondence (e.g., letters, legal documents, briefing notes and memos);
proofreading, formatting and editing of correspondence prepared by others;
making the necessary arrangements for new employees (e.g., ITO service requests, building access, telephones), compiling data used for reporting;
maintaining employee records and other files;
compiling and coordinating the completion of branch reports;
registered mail out of legal documents; prepare and swear affidavits of service; and register and discharge judgments;
provide telephone coverage within the branch;
be responsible for the administrative assistant?s procedure manual and intercepting government funds through a set-off recovery system;
maintaining program spreadsheets and databases; and
other administrative duties as assigned.
