The Ministry of Justice is seeking a well-rounded professional to join its Information Management Branch. The branch provides direction in information management and the use of technology to support business strategies. This position will be of interest to individuals who can fill a leadership role while appreciating the increasingly dynamic nature of program delivery in the public sector. This is a term position for the period of January 7, 2013 to February 28, 2014.
You will enable and support the goals, visions and business requirements of a wide range criminal justice programs. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a consultative and co-operative working relationship with client management; developing a thorough understanding of business strategies; identifying opportunities for the strategic use of technology; and developing strategic technology plans at the program and enterprise level. This will involve program evaluations, requirements analysis, organizational readiness assessments, enterprise change management, risk management, business process re-engineering, tactical planning, and solution assessments.
The knowledge and skills required for this position are typically obtained through the completion of a degree in an information technology-related discipline (Computer Science, Commerce or Business Administration) and/or significant related experience.
