Yarrow Youth Farm is a young offender facility located at the west edge of Saskatoon that provides developmental programs and residential custody to Open Custody youth ages 12 - 18 being held under the provisions of Youth Criminal Justice Act.
As a Parental Care Supervisor you will participate in the delivery of the program which provides supervision, care and support (supervision, transportation) for the residents. You will conduct routine searches and checks for fire and security hazards.
The youth residence operates on a continuous seven days/week - 24 hour basis. The successful applicant will be required to be available to work a variety of non traditional shifts and hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. You will be required to provide proof of current CPR and First Aid certificates. In addition, you must possess a valid driver?s license in order to transport youth and families.
Applicants are asked to clearly describe in their resumes or covering letter where they have gained and demonstrated the required knowledge and abilities. Selections for interviews will be made on the basis of this information.
