Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, an Agency of the Ministry of Social Services is seeking an energetic individual dedicated to facilitating the successful delivery of housing programs and management of housing projects.
As the Portfolio Management Consultant, you will provide expert program delivery and property management advice to non-profit housing corporations, housing co-operatives, applicants, municipalities, other government agencies, financial institutions and other program sponsors to ensure contract compliance as well as strong and successful operations. You will be required to conduct and co-ordinate training and informational sessions on a variety of topics such as: budgeting, project and mortgage financing, property management and tenant relations.
As the candidate of choice, you will bring knowledge of property management principles and legislation as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in dealing with housing groups and tenants. You will have the ability to use financial statements to assess potential problems with projects.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained through a relevant undergraduate degree in administration, commerce, economics, engineering technology, or related discipline with several years experience in property management, residential housing project delivery or community development. This position is based in Saskatoon, however, travel within Saskatoon and to other areas of the province will be required.
