Accommodation Services, North Region, is seeking individuals to join their service team to provide a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties at government facilities in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
As a member of a service-oriented team, you will be responsible for performing various custodial duties in assigned areas such as offices and washrooms. Duties will include: dusting, garbage disposal, replenishing washroom supplies, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, stripping, washing, waxing and buffing floors. The successful candidate will be required to operate heavy-duty power cleaning equipment and must be able to climb ladders and lift or carry heavy objects. In addition, you will respond to client concerns and inquiries and ensure equipment is safe and meets operating standards.
To qualify for this position candidates must have working level knowledge of building cleaning and operations as well as WHMIS. You must be in good physical condition in order to perform a variety of manual activities. You must be focused and goal oriented to manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment with an unpredictable workload and strict deadlines. You will be thorough and attentive to cleaning standards, approachable, co-operative and flexible when dealing with clients and colleagues. You must possess a valid driver's license. The shift is "call in" basis.
