The Operations Section of Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure?s Northern Region is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to become their Operations Budget Manager (10FAT) located in Prince Albert.
As Operations Budget Manager, you will compile annual delivery plans for summer surface maintenance, and winter ice and snow control operations and the respective budgets in consultation with Regional Operations Staff. You will monitor usage and procurement of material inventories, establish ?billing rates? and prepare yearend reports. You will track project, material, equipment and labour costs to compile performance and expenditure reports and assess and recommend necessary actions in response to variances from approved baselines. You will undertake business reviews and support Regional Operations program delivery, program evaluation and fiscal management.
Research and develop innovation solutions for optimizing and improving procedures and methods related to program delivery, monitoring, and reporting.
To qualify for the Operations Budget Manager position you must possess a Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or a Professional Accountant designation recognized by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan.
