Description

The Ministry of Justice requires permanent part-time nurses at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre, Saskatchewan.  Successful candidates will perform work of a specialized nature in the treatment and care of physically ill and/or mentally disordered adult female inmates.  You will respond to medical emergencies, assess the need for psychiatric treatment and make referrals, promote preventative health measures, arrange appointments, collect health information from inmates, dispense medications, maintain health records and organize and deliver educational workshops for both staff and inmates at the centre.

To qualify, you will be eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPN) or the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (RN) and have current CPR training.
