At SaskPower we are committed to safety. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team within our organization by proactively providing highly specialized safety services and programs.
The Safety Coordinator will lead in the identification of health and safety hazards, evaluate risks and recommend controls to eliminate or mitigate those risks. The employee will show their safety expertise by leading and facilitating the continuous improvement of our registered safety programs throughout the assigned business unit and monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, rules and regulations.
As a safety professional you will hold the required accreditations and have several years of safety related experience.
The pay range for this position is $67,969 - $85,843/year. SaskPower offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package (greater than 30% of your base salary). In addition to base salary SaskPower offers relocation assistance, professional development and education reimbursement, overtime at double time rates, and various benefits that can be taken as cash payout.
This position falls within the scope of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW), Local 2067.
