Description
SaskPower Corporate Information & Technology is currently looking for up to eight (8) IT Project Managers, who will ensure that assigned IT projects are successfully tracked, reported on and implemented on time and on budget, meeting or exceeding customer expectations. This service will be delivered using SaskPower CI&Ts Project Management framework and templates.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline; PMI (PMP) and/or Prince2 certifications; and five to ten years of relevant work experience managing IT projects. They will prepare project plans, monitor integration, execution, scope, risk, cost, time, procurement, quality, communications, organizational change and resources and initiate corrective action as appropriate; They will have demonstrated knowledge of process standards; excellent technical abilities; and interpersonal skills. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in an assessment process that could consist of an interview, abilities test, case study and/or interview.
