The 2011 CAAR Retailer of Year is excited to announce they are looking to add a full-time Agronomist to their team to balance the company's exponential growth.
You will be joining one of the most highly regarded and respected agronomy teams in the industry, renowned for their annual "Field of Dreams" testing and research efforts.
You will be a highly motivated individual that can work efficiently and effectively in a high energy, fast paced environment. You will have experience in Intensive Crop Production. Your focus will be to develop long-term partnerships with our customers, suppliers, reps, and location managers while ensuring maximum productivity to our customers.
The position calls for the following duties:
---Provide customized consulting services to Hudye Soil's customers in the form of crop recommendations, fertility (micro/macro), soil testing, field scouting, weed and disease management, product knowledge.
---Be the product knowledge specialist in terms of seed qualities and traits, herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, etc for the staff and customers of Hudye Soils to allow everyone to implement and use the most appropriate and beneficial product for whatever application is in question or necessary.
---Prepare, conduct, and manage field size/small plot research trials for the benefit of Hudye Soil's customers to help them maximize their productivity.
---Strategically target new customers and build lasting business relationships with the grower by providing services, support and products from Hudye Soil Services Inc. that meet their unique needs.
---Assisting the team at Hudye Soil's with Customer grower meetings and information sessions, by providing current and new agronomic advice through presentations.
---Ultimately, building customer loyalty by providing sound agronomic advice and solutions to meet the needs, resolve issues and maximize productivity for existing customers.
