Description
Temple Gardens Mineral Spa is accepting applications for a Dining Room Manager, who demonstrates professionalism and strong customer service skills in a casual fine dining atmosphere. Knowledge of Temple Gardens, the city of Moose Jaw and previous management experience is an asset.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall supervision of F&B Outlets and employees.
Ensure a smooth day-to-day operation of all outlets.
Maintenance of the high quality service and standards required by the Hotel.
Coach, counsel and performance management of employees in coordination with the Department Manager.
Selection, Training and Development process for all new employees in coordination with the Department Manager.
Foster and ensure open communication with all other departments involved with the efficient operation of the Outlets.
Initiates changes in procedures or practices to improve efficiency.
Ensure health and safety standards/practices are followed at all times.
Knowledge of scheduling, payroll, month-end reports, profit and loss statements.
Completes all necessary documentation and forms required for the particular outlets.
Ensures all cash outs are deposited accordingly.
Oversee inventory of all products to ensure that an appropriate par stock is maintained and available at all times.
Complies with Hotel Policies and Procedures.
Performs other tasks as assigned by Department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two years experience as manager in a restaurant, dining room, or banquet facility.
Proven leadership and staff development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Post Secondary Education in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Squirrel, and Delphi an asset.
