Permanent Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist - Masters With the Stroke Services Program in Yorkton, Saskatchewan

Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist - Masters reports to the Manager of the Stroke Services and Acute Care Therapies and receives clinical guidance from the Speech-Language Pathologist - Masters-Senior.
The Speech-Language Pathologist - Masters is responsible for assisting in planning and organizing the activities of the designated service area within the Speech-Language Pathology Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of Speech-Language Pathology. This will be done in accordance with the Sunrise Health Region mission statement and Therapy Department statement of purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department.

Qualifications:
Masters Degree or equivalent as recognized by Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
Eligible for license with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
Ability to travel both provincially and within the Region
Ability to follow safe work practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience working with children an asset
Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills

Hours of Work:
As per full time rotation
Days

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms & conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Salary and benefits in accordance with the SAHO/Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan Collective Agreement governing the position and corresponding to education and previous experience.
