Autism Services, is looking for a creative professional that is passionate about working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a member of a team in a non-profit environment.
This is a multifaceted position with an emphasis on staff and family training, coordination, intervention program development, direct work with clients and supervision responsibilities. The Senior Therapist will provide services to clients in the ABA Preschool for children between 2 and 5 years of age who are presenting with ASD and their families.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in clinical human service fields such as Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Education, or Psychologist
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the development, delivery and coordination of ASD specific treatment program plans for children and youth with ASD is required.
A minimum of two years experience in the development and delivery of ABA or IBI programs
A background in ASD assessment and intake, experience in working on multidisciplinary teams, coordination skills and family support experience is desired,
Experience in the clinical and administrative supervision and support of direct service workers is an asset
Strong collaborative, leadership, facilitative, advocacy and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with other team members.
Thorough working knowledge of autism and the community of agencies providing service to individuals with autism and their families.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

The Senior Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ABA Preschool in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and philosophy of Autism Services and the program. This position reports directly to the Director of the Preschool Program.
This is a one year term position. 25 hours per week at $ 33.45 per hour.
