Description
Access Communications Co-operative Limited is one of the largest cable companies in Canada. We are a 100% Saskatchewan community owned non-profit co-operative. We provide services in over 200 Saskatchewan communities and offer digital and high definition cable services, high speed Internet, digital phones and security systems.
The Job
You will save the day when our loyal subscribers in Estevan and surrounding area need TV, Internet, phone or home security installation, maintenance or have any questions about their equipment. You are quick to educate them on the variety of Access products, and offer solutions for any equipment issues they may have. You are first to respond to any outages, including outages from the subscribers' equipment back to and including the headend. You'll be representing Access in the community so a professional attitude and a friendly smile are essential. Don't worry; smiles come easy when you work for Access.
Candidate Qualifications
You'll need an Electronics Certificate or equivalent, and at least three years experience. This is where you've learned how to use technical diagnostic and maintenance equipment, plus hand tools utilized in the cable industry. You're organized, personable, great with the public, and if you already have Health and Safety training it's a bonus. If you don't, that's ok. You supply the positive attitude and Access will supply the rest.
Company Benefits
Access offers competitive salaries and a benefits package that will knock your socks off, but that's just the beginning. It's the kind of place where you can be proud of what you do. We do good things in the community and everyone who works here is a part of that. We also listen to our employees. We'll put everything in front of you and help you get where you want to go; just how far is up to you. We are committed to Employment Equity through the development of a work force that reflects the communities we serve.
