Remco is currently searching for a Human Resources Manager. A bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration with a minimum of five years progressively responsible human resources experience is preferred. Experience with ADP pay@work would be considered an asset.
This is a human resource generalist role primarily responsible for establishing, directing and executing policies and procedures administered by the human resources department. This individual: communicates and facilities human resource policies throughout the organization, reviews employment applicants and interviews with potential candidates within established guidelines, conducts background investigations on potential candidates within established guidelines, makes recommendations to the Vice President and/or the President on hiring decisions, disciplinary issues and training needs, provides support and makes recommendations to departmental supervisors concerning employee relations and disciplinary issues, keeping the President informed, updates the employee handbook on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal guidelines and that all changes are clearly communicated to each employee, has a thorough understanding of Remco's retirement plan, ensuring compliance with all legislation, monitors and administers benefit plans, promotes employee benefits and retirement programs ensuring a total benefit package which meets employee needs and Remco objectives, makes recommendations concerning salary administration and performance evaluations within established guidelines, compiles and processes Remco's biweekly payroll, has a thorough understanding of federal, provincial and local human resource laws and issues which effect Remco, and manages, coordinates and facilities ongoing training programs.
Compensation will include base salary plus an opportunity for bonuses and an excellent benefits package.
