GMS has an opening for a Business Development Consultant in Saskatoon. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the continued growth of the network of insurance agents and brokers in Saskatoon and surrounding area. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting GMS health and travel insurance products and group benefit plans to brokers. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required. As a motivated and strategic thinker the Business Development Consultant must have the desire and ability to generate results.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a related field or a combination of education and five years of successful sales experience preferably in prospecting, cold-calling, and closing deals will be considered. Good computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently is essential. This role requires a Life, Accident & Sickness License or must be willing to obtain this certification. A valid drivers license is required as there will be some in-province travel involved.
