Description
Northlands College, a government funded Regional College serving northern Saskatchewan is seeking a full-time Student Advisor in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan starting August 20, 2012.
The Student Advisor is an in-scope position reporting to the Counselor and is primarily responsible for providing personal counseling services to current and prospective students throughout the College region. They may be required to provide educational and career counselling services from time to time as directed by the counselor.
The applicant typically will have the ability to maintain strict client trust and confidentiality required by counseling ethics and exercise sound judgement while dealing with clients in a empathetic way.
The minimum qualifications for this position are a relevant two year post secondary diploma with at least 2 years of related experience.
Proof of Education and a Criminal Record check will be required prior to hire.
