Description
Temple Gardens Mineral Spa is accepting applications for a Food and Beverage Server, who demonstrates professionalism and strong customer service skills. Knowledge of Temple Gardens, the city of Moose Jaw and previous serving experience is an asset.
The successful candidate will have:
- Attained legal age for service of alcohol
- Ability to work flexible hours, shift work is involved
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proven track record working in a high paced upper-end restaurant and/or banquet facility
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to set and maintain our standards of quality and speed of service on a consistent basis
- 2 Years experience with evening dining serving, (American Plate Service) is an asset
- "It's Good Business?" Certification is an asset
- STEC Food and Beverage Server Certification is an asset
- Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
General Duties to include:
-Serve and maintain assigned section in dining room/banquet department
-Prepare daily mise en place
-Assist with lounge service
-Set up / tear down of conference rooms
-Knowledge of Squirrel POS system
-Work as part of a team
-Administer excellent customer service to guests
-Responsible for daily cash and cash out
-Able to assist members of the food and beverage team as required
-Maintain quality control
-Able to work weekends and flexible hours according to business needs
-Other duties assigned by supervisors/managers
