Description

*Hours of Work: Days with field averaging of hours (160 hours in a four week period)*  

These positions are instrumental to the successful delivery of the provincial SAID Program. Under the supervision of the SAID Project Senior Supervisor, the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability Eligibility Assessments (SAID) Program Assessor will be responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments with individuals using established assessments tools. Duties include:
-Conducting face-to-face in-home assessments with individuals with disabilities; will include extensive travel throughout defined regions of the province.
-Record information obtained during the assessment using electronic management systems  and a paper process
-Analyze/review information for accuracy and ensure consistent and equitable application of the assessment tool
-Provide project reporting and information as requested (verbal, written and electronic)
-Develop, schedule and coordinate daily workflow
-Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of personal and sensitive information

Qualifications:
-Degree in Human Services (Sociology, Psychology, Social Work) with a minimum 3 years experience administering assessments to people with disabilities
-Valid Drivers License and use of personal vehicle
-Exceptional interviewing and assessment skills
-Excellent written, verbal and computer skills
-In-depth understanding of disability issues and ability to effectively engage and relate to people of varying abilities
-Strong organizational skills
-The successful candidates shall be subject to a criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector query as a condition of employment
