Description
ICF Marbek is seeking a program manager to lead delivery of commercial & industrial programs, expected to last until 2014, followed by other opportunities in Regina. Reporting to the Program Director, you will provide leadership & direction to staff involved in the delivery of commercial lighting, commercial building retro-commissioning, & industrial programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationship w/ SaskPower staff, including Program Leaders
Understand & elaborate on vision, objectives, strategies, approach, methods, tasks & deliverables
Hire, organize, develop, direct & mentor staff
Monitor & report progress in terms of activities, outputs/deliverables & outcomes (in accordance w/ program logic framework)
Identify problems, threats, opportunities & lessons learned. Make or recommend adjustments to program designs, implementation plans, & procedures
Manage financial resources assigned to the program. Monitor fees & expenditures to meet financial objectives. Work w/ project financial comptroller & accounting staff to develop forecasts, anticipate problems & develop solutions
Communicate w/ client, customers of the program, staff & broader audiences
Participate in Program Evaluation activities & assist SaskPower & ICF Marbek to develop plans for period following delivery of programs
Qualifications:
Engineering or business degree
8+ yrs in energy efficiency
Preferred Skills:
Exp delivering energy efficiency programs, managing staff & financial resources, & consulting
Masters degree
Strong client relationships & industry contacts
Professional Skills:
Verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills in English
Business ethics (protection of proprietary & confidential info)
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
