Biggar EMS/Biggar Union Hospital
STATUS OF POSITION:    Temporary Part Time to June 12, 2013
AVAILABLE HOURS:

FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY:    128 hours in a 6 week rotation; shifts may include weekend rotation.  Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call.  Wherever possible, the employer will endeavor to ensure on-call assignments do not exceed 300 hours in a three week period.

These conditions may be subject to change
(Applicable to part-time staff only  scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.)  Summary of duties include: Provides pre-hospital care for patients including assessing, patient care, transferring and transporting (#16). Provides a clean, sanitary and safe environment for clients/patients/residents, staff and visitors (#92).

QUALIFICATIONS:    Grade 10 plus:
CPR/AED Provider Certification
EMR Certification from a CMA Accredited EMR Program.
Valid Class 4 Drivers License
Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of        
    Paramedics as an Emergency Medical Responder

SALARY:    Salary range $19.38 to $20.75  Pay Band #11 (#16)
Salary range $16.20 to $17.35  Pay Band #5   (#92)
