Description

If you have management experience or strong food service background, love motivating and working with your customer service team, thrive on achieving results, have high expectations for service, quality and cleanliness and are a great communicator, then Pizza Hut is the place to be.
Nature of Work:Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of workers who prepare, portion and serve food.
Main Duties:Perform some or all of the following.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food,establish methods to meet work schedules,maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage,train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures,ensure that food and service meet quality control standards,may participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is usually required
- Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR several years of experience in food preparation or service are required
Experience:
2-3 years
Specific Skills:
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Ensure food service and quality control. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Additional Skills:
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Essential Skills:
Working with others, oral communication, reading text, document use, writing, numeracy, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, computer use and finding information.
Working hours for food service supervisors usually include days, evenings, weekends and holiday work. A food service supervisor works under considerable amounts of pressure.
