Sunrise Health Region has an opening for a Permanent Full-Time Director of Mental Health & Addiction Services - Community Services in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
Job Summary:
The Director of Mental Health and Addictions (MH&AS) is accountable to the Vice President of Community Services for the overall organization, direction, administration, coordination and evaluation of MH&AS necessary for the effective and efficient provision of care to the residents of the Sunrise Health Region (SHR).
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree in a health related field; Masters Degree preferred
- Suitable combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum five (5) years experience in an administrative, supervisory and/or management capacity
- Minimum five (5) years experience in a setting that provides a complete continuum of mental health and addiction services
- Experience in the development of community-based programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven organization and leadership skills
- Proven ability to team-build and to function as a team member
- Ability to be proactive and creative in decision-making
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Proven and positive labor relations experience
- Ability to use a variety of computer programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively with various community agencies and partners
