Main Tasks:
- Providing good customer service 10am-5pm Tues-Sat (Sat to 4pm) Selling tickets to valued customers at the Box Office window
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy in cashing out, financial reconciliation at the end of each work day
- Take part in producing and maintaining box office records, reports and other information as directed
- Undertake all general reception functions: telephone inquiries, re-direction and messages; dealing with incoming deliveries and couriers; other duties at the discretion of Management
Other Duties:
- Take part in Cultural Centre 'housekeeping' duties when asked
- General supportive administrative duties
Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Experience with administration
- Experience in and good understanding of customer service
- A high level of computer skills
- Highly self-motivated; strong attention to detail
- Smart, personable, confident and a good team player
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Good level of literacy/numeracy
- Good telephone manner
- Flexibility, commitment, reliability
- Strong organizational ability
- Work well under pressure
- Interest in the arts
Desirable:
- Previous Box Office experience
- Experience in pro-active sales
- Experience in handling money/stock etc: cashing out; keeping financial records
