Prepare and cook Chinese food; Set up, stock and oversee buffet line; Ensure quality of food; Oversee kitchen operations; Maintain inventory & records of food, supplies and equipment; Supervise kitchen helpers/dishwashers; May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements & costs & monitor & order supplies; May hire & train kitchen staff; May perform other duties as required; Must be available to work weekends and shiftwork.
Education: Cooking qualification an asset, but not required
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience (Chinese Cuisine - Cantonese and Mandarin) in the food service industry.
Language: Functional English required. The ability to speak Cantonese &/or Mandarin is an asset.
