Description

We are accepting resumes for ECE level I, ECE level II and ECE level III positions for our future childcare centre opening downtown this coming Spring.

We are seeking passionate level one Early Childhood Educators to assist us in providing children with a nurturing environment and quality programming and elevate children play into learning potential. Our focus is to allow children the freedom to learn at their own pace, develop valuable skills, and reach developmental milestones all while having fun.


Responsibilities

-Understand and uphold Ministry of Education Early Learning childcare regulations while adopting cooperation
-Provide and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and explore
-Engage and encourage children through the implementation of our centre play to learn curriculum
-Plan and implement activities which are age appropriate, within childrens interests, and encourages children to build on skills to move forward developmentally
-Maintain and assist in the upkeep of a clean and healthy workplace for everyone according to Public Health and our centre standards
-Knowledge and acceptance that professional development is going and show willingness to seek and obtain professional development opportunities
-Demonstrate a commitment to working in partnership with parents, board members, families, stakeholders and staff team members


Requirements
Experience working in a structured childcare environment, an asset
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Current Standard First Aid and CPR
Criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
Play and Exploration training is considered an asset but not required.
