What Youll Do
As the Office Manager, youll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day administrative functions of our office are handled efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Client & Office Administration
Answering phone calls and handling inquiries professionally.
Being present in the office to greet clients and answer the door.
Accounting & Financial Admin
Entering invoices into Gmail and managing email documentation.
Handling move-out accounting, including final rent balances and security deposit processing.
Managing deposits and e-transfers, ensuring timely processing.
Performing bank reconciliations and making bank deposits.
Overseeing monthly recurring admin tasks related to financial operations.
Property Management Support
Handling late rent collection and following up with tenants.
Processing rental applications and ensuring necessary documentation is complete.
Processing payroll and providing general administrative support.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in an administrative or office management role (property management experience is an asset).
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Gmail and basic financial software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail, especially with accounting tasks.
Technology: Experience with property management software (e.g., Buildium, Propertyware, or similar) is an asset.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively.
