Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accountant is a key position in supporting, maintaining and administering the accounting and finance records on an ongoing basis.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Representing PACL in a professional manner both internally and externally;
- Administration of subcontractor invoices related to projects to ensure invoicing in compliance with the terms of the contract;
- Preparation of PACL invoices in accordance with the terms of the contract;
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tracking and follow-up;
- Support and engagement in the year end audit;
- Coordinating daily financial tasks with the financial management team to optimize workflow.
- PST and GST reconciliation and submissions;
- Examination of monthly bank statements and transactions, reconciliation of the bank account to the general ledger and cash management duties.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting.
