Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles telephone and electronic mail inquiries.
Schedule and confirm medical appointments and receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients.
Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and documents for review.
Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking and filing.
Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies as required and arrange for servicing of office equipment.
Send and receive messages and documents using fax machine or electronic mail.
Scan, sort and file documents according to established guidelines.

Requirements:
Completion of secondary school.
Completion of a one- or two-year college program or other specialized courses for secretaries or medical secretaries or relevant experience.
