As a Welder, your primary responsibilities are to inspect incoming parts, to weld small parts together and fabricate non-oil-filled subassemblies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Inspect and check incoming parts to ensure they match engineering drawings and specifications.
2. Verify documents, prepare materials for welding and setup welding machine.
3. Weld small parts to create subassemblies.
4. Clean and maintain welding equipment and station.
5. Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES

1. Grade 12 Education.
2. Saskatchewan Polytechnic Pre-Employment Welding Course or equivalent program.
3. 6 months to 1 year of hands-on welding experience.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of tools and welding processes.
5. Ability to read and understand blueprints.
6. Capability to work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
7. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
8. Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
