Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, the Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients/patients/residents incorporating best practice and evidence based research. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them.
Education
- Baccalaureate degree from a program that is recognized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Other Information
- This position will be assigned to a Primary Health Care Network (Regina) within Primary Health Care Services. May be required to provide services in a variety of settings including community meeting places, clinic settings or within a private residence including home visits. Home base for this position is 1504 Albert Street.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license. Some assignments may require access to a vehicle for work. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
