Home Support Worker

Job Criteria:
Education: Must be a graduate of a reputable caregiver program and must be certified in CPR.
Experience Required: 1-2 Years

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide care and companionship for individuals in our care facilities;
Provide care and companionship for the families of the individuals in our care facilities;
Administer bedside and personal care to clients  aiding in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing/undressing;
Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients;
May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse;
May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry washing dishes and making beds;
Follow operating policies and procedures;
Assist in facilitating concerns and complaints from clients;
Adheres to best practises when performing treatments;
Provides clients with the knowledge and assistance to learn appropriate self care techniques;
