Description

Gateway Alliance Medical is one of the largest and reputed clinics in Regina and is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and outgoing Medical Office Assistant.

The MOA may perform some or all of the following duties:
    Welcoming patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries friendliness and respect. Being the face and voice of the organization
    Prioritizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization
    Managing patient flow within the clinic, ensuring that patients are treated with care and respect, and that they are promptly attended to
    Working closely with physicians and Allied Health Professionals to keep them abreast of daily bookings and schedule changes, continually relaying information
    Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
    Receiving revenue by recording and collecting patient charges (cash or credit card)
    Keeping medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs in the various clinic rooms
    Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
    Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks on time.  
    Filing electronic reports. Responding to messages, faxes and phone calls
    Scanning health records and documents, performing clerical duties. Filing of documents to patient charts using Accuro (EMR), data entry are some of the duties.
