The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), great attention to detail, diligence in proofreading, grace under pressure, an interest in learning, eagerness to help, solid organization, and a willingness to perform a variety of jobs ranging from answering the phone and greeting clients to providing administrative and legal assistance. Must also love dogs.
Experience with Microsoft applications is a benefit. Experience with the following are all assets but not essential as we provide much on the job training: real estate law, wills and estates law, Information Services Corporation searches, and PC Law.
The positions are for 25 to 35 hours per week with potential for additional hours as needed. Dowling Talbot encourages a healthy work-life balance.
Competitive remuneration will be based on a combination of experience and assets. Ideal start dates: January, 2024 and March 2024, respectively.
