Responsibilities:
-Make safety the top priority in every task or action taken by you and your team
-Provide leadership and guidance to the planning group
-Develop and maintain the planning vision, strategies, principles and techniques
-Must have a clear understanding of industrial maintenance fundamentals and the risks and benefits of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance
-Ensure new equipment is evaluated for maintenance stock inventory requirements
-Lead the change management process, including recognizing, documenting, designing, implementing and validating changes
-Lead projects, including guiding planners, managing vendor contracts, and overseeing project implementation
-Evaluate trends and identify cost saving opportunities
-Review and monitor maintenance costs, and assist with annual budget
-Advise management on planning performance
Skills and Qualifications:
-5 years of engineering or planning supervision experience
o Preference will be given to those with industrial experience
Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
