Tasks
1. Direct and control daily operations
2. Evaluate daily operations
3. Plan and organize daily operations
4. Manage staff and assign duties
5. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
6. Determine merchandise and services to be sold
7. Implement price and credits policies
8. Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
9. Develop and implement marketing strategies
10. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
11. Determine staffing requirements
12. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
13. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
14. Oversee payroll administration
15. Conduct performance reviews
16. Supervise office and volunteer staff
