Hours of Work: In a 3 week rotation : 14 shift(s) of 7.77 hours
Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 7, $38.963 to $45.34 (5 step range)
The Registered Dietitian will use their in-depth scientific knowledge to provide high quality nutritional and hydrational education and instruction to oncology patients during their entire cancer care experience including: assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counselling, support and follow-up. This position reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Leader of Supportive Care within the Care Services Division.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:- Bachelor Degree in Nutrition or equivalent.
- Completion of a Dietetic Internship.
Memberships:- Membership with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association Membership with Dietitians of Canada.
Experience:- 3 years experience in clinical nutrition.
Skills:- Relevant clinical nutrition knowledge and ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice.
- Assessment skills, including the ability to interpret detailed patient information effectively.
- Communication skills required to develop and present complex information including written documentation and verbal presentations.
- Human relations skills are required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short or long term goals.
