Description

Cashiers deal directly with the public and will welcome each customer to the store with a friendly and polite greeting. Cashiers will either have prior experience operating a cashier till or are willing to be trained on the till. Cashiers will adhere to all policies and procedures set out by Kahkewistahaw Gas and Convenience Store.


Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and greet each customer who enters the store.
- Be able to balance till float at start and end of shift.
- Ensure float discrepancies are recorded.
- Maintain a clean and friendly retail atmosphere.
- Answer and resolve customer questions and concerns.
- Offer customers to sign up for Petro Canada Rewards.
- Provide information about products and any current promotions.
- Sell and promote lottery sales.
- Verify Status Cards for fuel and tobacco sales.
- Verify I.D for tobacco and lottery sales.
- Act as a goodwill ambassador for Kahkewistahaw Gas and Convenience Store.
