Summary:
The Tech I, reporting to the Site Manager or Lead Technician, maintains and operates the wind power plant, providing troubleshooting expertise. This role requires a team player who can perform operations and maintenance tasks safely and cost-effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Perform operations and maintenance tasks as part of a team, following operational and troubleshooting procedures through on-the-job training.
Learn and operate the CMMS (FEMS) system.
Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Operate the facility under various conditions according to procedures for safe and efficient operation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including housekeeping tasks for turbines and office facilities.
Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental procedures.
Perform mandatory on-call duties as outlined by management.
Promote and enforce a safety culture across employees and contractors.
Travel as required, including up to 40% of the time in the assigned region.
Promote and improve Goldwinds ISO program.
Complete the required paperwork and reports.
Assist other departments as assigned.
Communicate with the Goldwind ROC on turbine-related activities.
Follow Goldwind USAs HSE policies and guidelines.

Required education and/or experience:
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
