Job Description:
As a Maintenance Manager it is your job to ensure that all lifts and support equipment are operating and ready for each skier day. Ensure that all buildings are prepared for each skier day. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities are pre-season, daily during the season and end of season.
Some key responsibilities are:
Repairing t-Bar derail
Check all electrical connections on lift towers
Grease towers
Check and ensure all emergency stops are working
Ensure lift line and run signage are up
Groom lift line profile and loading areas
Rebuild and check all t-bars
Service all motorized equipment and prepare for the season
Complete daily logs of all equipment as necessary
Building maintenance and snow removal
Install and take down signage
Furnace maintenance
Plumbing maintenance and repairs as required.
Any other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager
Must have own vehicle/transportation
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience in lift operations is preferred
All candidates must successfully complete the Lift Operations training.
Background check available upon request
Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with employees and guests in a clear and professional manner
Able to work outdoors and maintain high service standards during inclement weather conditions
Possess excellent employee and public relation skills and be of a naturally friendly and cooperative nature
Mature, energetic, adaptable and dependable with the ability to take initiative and work unsupervised.
Must be able to reason and react with quick thoughtful judgment, while remaining calm under pressure.
