Description

Duties/Responsibilities:
Reporting to the ED, the EA supports all areas of the organization.

Responsibilities:
1.Executive admin support
Admin support to the ED & senior management
Coordinates & supports meetings of the ED, Board
2.HR & Operations coordination
Supports onboarding of new staff
Coordinates time mgmt system & payroll
Coordinates facilities, equipment, & IT needs
3.Financial mgmt support
Invoices/payables
Accounts receivable
Cheques/EFTs
Bank deposits
Bank/credit card reconciliation
4.Communications/promotions
Website maintenance
Social media content
5.Program support
Compiles statistics
Tracks agreements
Assists with drafting reports, funding proposals, research, & presentations
Support for accreditation process & capacity-building
6.General
Supports a workplace culture of caring, collaboration, mutual respect, & professionalism
Assists in coordinating & participates in agency activities
Provides backup support for other admin team members, including reception coverage
Other as assigned

Education:
Business Admin diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience providing administrative support to executive leaders & governors, preferably in the non-profit sector
Excellent English communication skills
Experience in financial activities
Organization & time mgmt skills
Project mgmt orientation, advance planning skills
Analytical & problem-solving skills
Quality improvement mindset
Ability to work independently & reliably with minimal supervision
Interest in varied roles & responsibilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality & work with sensitive information
Sound & independent judgment, reasoning, & discretion
Superior skills using MS Office, QuickBooks, Google apps, SM platforms
Experience managing Web content is an asset
